Era of Cosmic Catastrophes, Atlantean Collapse, and the Rise of Thoth (40,000 BC – 27,000 BC)
In Part 1 of the Closed Mouth Mysteries Timeline, the investigation explored recurring civilization cycles, Eternal Authority symbolism, Ancient Egyptian beliefs surrounding Ra and the Boat of Eternity, Brahma Kumaris teachings concerning the eternal drama, mysterious prehistoric artifacts, and symbolic parallels connected with Poseidon and Atlantis traditions.
Part 2 continues this investigation by examining ancient accounts of cosmic disturbances, Atlantean catastrophe traditions, the role of Thoth in post-cataclysmic civilization rebuilding, prehistoric symbolic artifacts, and archaeological mysteries connected with the possibility of forgotten civilizations preserved across cyclical human history.

● As the author and researcher Graham Hancock has pointed out, based on the work of Schwaller de lubicz, the references to the sun changing where it sets and rises is likely to be describing the shift of the procession of the equinoxes, where the sun on the spring equinox gradually rises and sets against different constellations. The time it would have taken to switch where it rises and sets to the opposite position, twice would set the beginning of Egyptian civilization to around at least 39,440 BC.
Within the framework of this timeline, these ancient accounts of cosmic disturbance and celestial change raise symbolic questions concerning whether major catastrophes and civilization shifts may have occurred during this remote period of human history.

“Androgynous Thoth Leads Atlantean Survivors to Egypt” After collapse of Atlantis
Inhabitants of Atlantis are recorded as gradually losing their spiritual faculties & virtues, & becoming increasingly degenerate & aggressive until finally, legend states that their island was destroyed by a great flood as a form of divine punishment. – The ancient religion of sun book, Lara Atwood, page No .12, 13
● Ancient Egyptian text also contains accounts of a wisdom bringer called Androgynous Thoth, who appears to have led the survivors of Atlantis to Egypt where he oversaw the establishment of civilization there.
● In summation, a catastrophe occurs that darkens the sun and disturbed the Deities, but Androgynous thoth led them across the sea to an eastern country ( Egypt). Androgynous Thoth is “depicted as the controller of the flood,” (Leyden papyrus) and the Theban recension includes the island of fire in the flood story ( Papyrus of ani, Chap. CLXXV)

Edfu in Egypt, where thoth is also mentioned as a survivor of a destroyed island. The researcher and author Graham Hancock have made the correlation between the Edfu accounts and the description Plato gave of Atlantis.
● “These Inscriptions, the so-called Edfu building text takes us back to a very remote period called the “early primeval age of the Deities”——and these Deities, it transpires, were not originally Egyptians but lived on the sacred island, the homeland of Primaeval ones “ in the midst of a great ocean. ● Legends state that amongst the several islands of Atlantis, at least one was home to religious institutions of the Religion of the Sun and a number of its high priests and sages. While most of the inhabitants of Atlantis as per the cataclysm, a king and a number of sages were said to have warned and survived. These survivors, whom Author called “wisdom bringers” embarked on a mission to spread the Religion of the Sun and the civilization needed to create stable societies to support its practice across the world. Conclusion – was Androgynous Thoth same Androgynous Dying and Rising authority who is known as a Deity of the Justice responsible for restoring civilizations after flood and mentioned as ruler of Eternity in indian vedic text and Egyptian Book of the Dead. As thoth also taught knowledge of civilizations and known as a Deity of the Justice. “It yet remains a mystery.”

As the timeline progresses into later prehistoric periods, additional archaeological sites and symbolic artifacts continue to generate debate concerning the antiquity of civilization and the possibility of forgotten cultural knowledge preserved across ages.

As the investigation moves further into humanity’s forgotten past, additional myths, archaeological mysteries, ancient monuments, and recurring divine figures continue to raise symbolic questions concerning the origins of civilization and the possibility of repeating cosmic cycles preserved through mythology and sacred tradition.
Whether these accounts represent symbolic memory, lost history, spiritual allegory, or fragmented recollections of earlier civilizations remains an open mystery.
The investigation continues in Part 3, where additional ancient traditions, prehistoric structures, sacred symbols, and recurring civilization-founder figures will be examined through the framework of cyclical civilization and the Eternal Authority hypothesis.
